GO Movement: Christians Bring Hope on German Unity Day
We celebrate the wonders of God's work in Germany. On German Unity Day, October 3rd, Germans celebrate the wall coming down in Berlin between East Berlin and West Berlin. The demolition of the wall signified the end of the Cold War and launched the unification of East and West Germany. The famed wall came down on November 3, 1989, but October 3rd was set as the holiday celebrating this historical event.
Thirty years later, on October 3rd, 2020, God brought walls down in the hearts of people as the word of God went forth through thousands of newspapers that were distributed. Werner Nachtigal, founder of Global Outreach Day, reached children and a Muslim with the word of God as he distributed 7,500 evangelistic newspapers. Sebastian Decker also distributed 5,000 evangelistic newspapers. A total of 700,000 newspapers were distributed in Berlin.
Throughout Germany, a total of 16.5 million evangelistic newspapers were distributed. Pray for the word of God to go deep into hearts of the readers.
