Helping the poorest with food and the gospel

In Brazil, hundreds of thousands have come to faith in recent years as part of the GO Movement. The openness is encouraging, and the GO Movement has given a clear impetus to common evangelism. For example, a conference was held in Brazil at the end of November in which more than 300 churches, congregations, and mission organizations made plans together to reach the country and their entire continent, indeed the world, for Jesus.

In recent years, GO outreaches have consistently focused on the poor northwest of the country. The "sertanejos" in this part of the country are - compared to the whole country - very little evangelized and mostly poor. The GO Christmas 2021 campaigns will also be particularly focused on this region. The GO teams will visit especially poor families and give them Christmas gifts for the children, clothes and food, pray for them and proclaim the saving message of Jesus. The food baskets they have prepared for this purpose contain rice, beans, flour, sugar, pasta, and hygiene products, among other things, and will be distributed together with an evangelistic brochure. One such basket costs 40 US dollars.

The goal of the Christmas campaigns is to make the love of God tangible for people, to win them for a life with Jesus and to plant new churches where possible in order to firmly root the Gospel in this region.

We invite you to support "GO Christmas" in the poor northwest of Brazil: give one or more families a gift of a food basket. Thank you very much for your emergency aid!
